Stephen was born in 1984 in Glasgow. He was a well loved young man by his family, friends and colleagues. He was a promising apprentice electrician who had a bright future in his chosen trade. He loved his family and also his beloved Celtic of whom he was a passionate fan and member of Carluke Shamrock CSC. He was tragically taken from us through no fault of his own in February 2004 just over one week after his 20th birthday. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but will be forever in our hearts. YNWA Hail Hail! xxxxxxxxxxxx

stephen was such a kind hearted and caring boy,who was taken away from all the family so tragically,but lives on in our hearts.

I never seen much of Stephen after we left Carluke High School but he was such a nice guy and will never be forgotten! I'm sure I'm one of many old school pals who still think about him time to time. xx

I considered myself a friend of Stephen when i worked with him when he was my apprentice and can remember the two of us singing along to this song (below) in Parkhall nursing home when we worked there in 2002.Every time i hear this song reminds me of Stephen.

Living on in memory
I never knew this site existed for Stephen, I just came across it when browsing for some Celtic information. It's a really nice site.
I actually work with the Carluke Shamrock C.S.C. that Stephen was a member of, and his great family is still a member of.
I'd just like to say that it's an honour for our club to continue living in the memory of young Stephen, and we gladly do that every year by arranging a 5-a-side football tournament in his name that raises a lot of money for charity. A worthy cause for such a worthy young man.
